Registered Nurse – Holyoke, MA
Minimum $44 to Maximum $48. Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, scheduled shift, and applicable shift differentials.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to assigned residents according to the nursing process.
- May be assigned to function as Medication/Treatment Nurse, unit Charge Nurse, or Supervisor.
- Direct day‑to‑day functions of Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
- Assess and respond to resident conditions using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary team to assure the highest standard of care.
- Complete and ensure LPN and C.N.A. documentation of care and services according to facility policies.
- Prepare reports such as the 24‑hour change‑in‑condition report, Incident and Accident reports, and others as directed by the Director of Nursing Services.
- Respond immediately to situations of resident risk (e.g., abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property).
- Report incidents promptly to appropriate personnel per facility policy.
- Ensure timely and accurate medication and treatment administration.
- Communicate to physicians and document changes in resident condition using objective and subjective nursing assessment.
- Document and implement changes in nursing and medical plans of care.
- Ensure that all members of the interdisciplinary team are aware of and understand changes in nursing and/or medical plans of care.
- Associate’s Degree from a credentialed school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of related nursing experience.
