Description:
As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with appropriate healthcare professionals and coworkers.
You will participate in the discharge planning process.
Common diagnoses include schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety.
Patient populations include geriatric, pediatric, and adult patients.
