American Traveler is hiring an RN Infection Control Preventionist/Employee Health Nurse for a behavioral health facility, requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

• Behavioral health setting within a 120-bed facility's Nursing Administration department
• Serves geriatric, adult, child, adolescent, and state-contracted psychiatric patient populations
• Day shift schedule (7-3 or 8-4)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EHR

• Active RN license (or eligibility) to work in Massachusetts
• Current BLS certification required
• APIC certification preferred
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience
• Strong organizational and infection control knowledge required
• Joint Commission readiness knowledge required
• DMH standards knowledge preferred
• Self-directed and professional demeanor required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Responsible for infection control practices and employee health nursing duties across the facility
• Works closely with the Chief Nursing Officer
• Reports to and supports Joint Commission readiness initiatives
• Royal blue scrubs required; casual wear and other facility-branded attire not permitted
• Biweekly orientation held on Tuesdays
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
