Description

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Program Supervisor for an 8‑bed female group home in Holyoke, MA. This program provides treatment services for young females that struggle with mental health (16‑22 years old). It offers long‑term support that teaches and mentors youth in the development of independent living skills, including employment, budgeting, transportation, and education.

Your role as a Program Supervisor

The Program Supervisor assists the Program Manager with the day‑to‑day operations of the program, including staff supervision, scheduling support, training and coaching employees, ensuring compliance with regulatory and agency requirements, completing documentation, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The position also provides direct support to the youth served and assists staff in managing daily program operations, behavioral interventions, crisis situations, and treatment goals.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution preferred (can be substituted with experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of residential and/or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working with youth and their families.
  • Experience in community child welfare and mental health programming.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Legally registered & insured car for work use.

Schedule

Tuesdays to Saturdays 1 pm‑9 pm. Will share an on‑call responsibility every other week with the Program Manager.

The pay rate is $46,800. This full‑time role includes a full‑benefit package, including Dental, Health and Life insurance, paid time off, earned vacation time, and more.
