About the roleThis role supports enterprise web applications by designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. You will work closely with engineering and business teams to ensure high-quality, reliable releases through modern test automation and CI/CD practices.
Key Responsibilities- Architect and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks across multiple applications
- Develop automated tests using Playwright (Java),
Cucumber/BDD
, and JUnit - Design reusable components using Page Object Model (POM) and design patterns
- Integrate and optimize automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Groovy DSL)
- Diagnose flaky tests and perform root cause analysis to improve reliability
- 5+ years of experience with Java test automation and strong OOP principles
- 3+ years of hands-on Playwright (Java binding) for web automation
- 3+ years of BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin or JUnit)
- Strong experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, and Git version control
- Estimated hourly range: $50–$60/hr (W-2)
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results
