CDL-A Local Grocery Driver – Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily

Earn an average of $95,000 per year delivering fresh and frozen grocery products on a dedicated local account. Enjoy consistent routes, home daily, and a $10,000 bonus.

• Average Weekly Pay:
  Approximately $1,850
• Hiring Bonus: $10,000
• Occasional layovers with hotel accommodations provided

• Deliver fresh and frozen groceries to supermarkets and distribution centers.
• Freight is transported throughout the New York City boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey, and Boston.
• Average of approximately 31 stops per week.
• Drivers typically complete one long load daily, with an additional shorter load when hours permit.
• Pick up occasional returns and backhauls to the distribution center.
• Driver unloads 1–3 pallets per stop using a manual pallet jack and liftgate.
• Piece-by-piece hand unloading may be required.
• Most New York City deliveries are curbside;
  New Jersey deliveries are typically dock deliveries.
• Support other local accounts as needed.
• Occasional layovers may occur; hotel provided.

• Start times between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM
• Split days off, including Sunday and one weekday
• Days off will not be Monday or Saturday
• Typically 12–14-hour shifts
• Home daily
• Thanksgiving and Christmas off
• New Year’s Day off is not guaranteed

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Preferred:
  At least 3 months of experience delivering throughout all New York City boroughs
• DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• No SAP drivers
• Reliable personal transportation to and from work
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to perform driver unloading and occasional hand unloading
• Willingness to slip-seat equipment

• Automatic and manual daycabs
• Reefer trailers: 46', 48', 51', and 53'
• Slip-seat operation; same-truck assignments are preferred but not guaranteed
• Trucks cannot be taken home
• Uniforms provided
• Hotel accommodations for occasional layovers
