Hourly rate: £12.71.

This is a seasonal part‑time role (30 hours over 4 days, including weekends and bank holidays) at Talacre Beach Resort. Flexibility is essential to suit the needs of the business.

Darwin Escapes has 18 destinations across the UK, offering diverse roles in food and beverage, grounds, maintenance, housekeeping, entertainment and management.

Responsibilities

• Complete staff rotas according to given budgets, taking into account holidays and demand.
• Support the activity team, leading various activities as needed.
• Ensure training within the team is up to date and NPLQ top‑up training is completed.
• Ensure all health and safety checks are carried out.
• Check plant and carry out pool water tests.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times.
• Advise guests on current activity programmes.
• Record any accidents and administer first aid, as required.

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• A current NPLQ is essential for this position.
• Pool Plant and First Aid At Work qualifications would be an advantage.
• A driving licence and the ability to drive is advantageous for travel to and from the resort.
