Gen Ed Teacher - Homer Glen, Illinois

You’ll work a steady schedule from 7:30 AM to 2:21 PM, making a lasting impact during those essential school hours.

With an active Illinois teaching license and certification, along with a CTE endorsement, your expertise will help guide junior high students toward success in an inclusive, collaborative environment.

• Valid Illinois teaching certificate and licensure
• CTE endorsement is required
• Classroom or school-based experience essential
• Demonstrated success with general education curriculum and instruction
• Ability to quickly engage in a 30-minute interview process
• Familiarity with junior high educational needs

• Create and implement lesson plans tailored to general education at the junior high school level
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to ensure student growth
• Monitor student progress and adapt instructional approaches as needed
• Participate in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development
