The assignment runs from August 26, 2026, through June 3, 2027, offering stability and professional growth throughout the school year.

• Active Illinois teaching licensure and certification
• CTE (Career and Technical Education) endorsement
• Prior experience in a school setting, specifically with junior high students
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive, inclusive environment
• Flexibility and a collaborative approach to working with staff and parents
• Availability for a full-time schedule from 7:30AM to 2:21PM
• Willingness to participate in a 30-minute interview process

• Deliver daily instruction aligned with junior high curriculum standards
• Develop lesson plans to accommodate a range of learning styles and needs
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and guidance
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive school culture
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
• Uphold all school policies and support student well-being
