Gen Ed Teacher - Homer Glen, Illinois

• Valid and current Illinois teaching license and certification
• CTE (Career and Technical Education) endorsement required
• Proven experience in a school-based education setting
• Background in general education at the junior high level preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction
• Must be available for a 30-minute interview

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum guidelines
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to support diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and support personnel to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and discipline
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
