Urgent Care APP (PA or NP) – South Peninsula Hospital
Location: Homer, Alaska
Position Type: Full-Time (4×10 schedule)
South Peninsula Hospital is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. This outpatient role offers consistent hours, strong clinical support, and the chance to practice broad-scope urgent care medicine in a welcoming coastal community.
Compensation and Benefits- Compensation: Competitive; aligned with MGMA 75th percentile and adjusted every two years

- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Clinic open Monday–Saturday, with extended hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8 p.m.

- Broad-scope urgent care for all ages
- Epic EMR with full SPH system integration
- Dragon dictation and DAX ambient scribe technology
- Onsite lab and imaging
- Access to specialists and ancillary support consistent with the outpatient FM/IM clinic model
- Pod-based MA and nursing support
- Medicare wellness RN and care coordination resources
- On-call orthopedics and general surgery available daily
- Collaborative environment with experienced APPs and physicians
- PA or NP with at least one year of post-training clinical experience preferred
- Willing to train strong new graduates
- Eligible for Alaska licensure
South Peninsula Hospital is a 22-bed critical access hospital with a 28-bed long-term care facility and a 9-bed emergency department operating 24/7.
