Lead Maintenance Technician — Vacation Rentals & Small Hotels

We are a family-run hospitality company in Homer, AK, managing a range of properties from boutique cabins to small hotels. We’re looking for a reliable, long-term Lead Maintenance Person who takes pride in their work and can help us uphold the clean, classy, high-quality experience we promise our guests.

This position oversees maintenance across multiple vacation rentals and small hotel properties. The day-to-day varies throughout the year and requires a solid handyman skill set along with the ability to recognize issues before they become problems.

• General property maintenance and repairs
• Winter projects and remodels
• Snow clearing during winter months
• Yard, hot tub and exterior maintenance during summer
• Identifying and addressing issues proactively
• Helping uphold company standards for cleanliness, quality, and guest experience

• Strong handyman or maintenance background
• Self-motivated and able to manage varying day-to-day tasks
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to mesh well with a small, family-run team
• Commitment to long-term employment and shared standards of quality
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test and provide references

• Winter: 20–40 hours per week
• Peak Season (April–September):
  Full-time, 40+ hours per week
• Pay is competitive and based on skill level and experience
