Job Overview
Providence is calling for an RN Supervisor in Seward, Alaska.
Hours:
Full Time (40 hours weekly) – Variable Shift.
- The RN‑Team Advisor directs and supervises the 24‑hour care of assigned elders to deliver whole‑person care in an innovative elder‑directed care model.
- Responsible for the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the elder's comprehensive plan of care.
- Uses established work systems and processes to facilitate quality of care and quality of life while ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards of practice.
- Facilitates effective communication of elder needs and issues to the clinical support team.
- Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs and LPNs within 24‑hour teams for the assigned group of elders.
- Fosters positive change, professional/ program growth and teamwork in an innovative care setting designed to be transformational in the lives of elders and those who care for them.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in gerontological nursing is necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- 1 year of clinical supervisory, management or resource experience.
- Experience in long‑term care.
