Location: Fairbanks, AK

Pay: $18-$28/HR

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

TDL Staffing is seeking a friendly and motivated Home Heating Sales Specialist to join a fast‑paced retail sales and service environment specializing in hearth and home heating products. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning technical product information, and working in a customer‑focused showroom environment.

In this role, you’ll assist customers with product selection, answer questions, coordinate deliveries and installations, and support day‑to‑day showroom operations. The right candidate will be dependable, customer‑focused, and comfortable learning about a wide range of home heating and hearth products.

• Greet customers and assist with product selection and questions
• Explain product features, uses, and advantages
• Set up and maintain customer information in company systems
• Schedule deliveries and installations
• Process payments and assist with sales transactions
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor
• Learn and retain technical knowledge related to products and services offered

• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self‑motivated and dependable work habits
• Ability to learn technical product information
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment
• Construction, heating, or wood stove experience is a plus
• Familiarity with computer systems and web‑based product lookup tools preferred
• Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position
• Must support a drug‑free work environment
