Job SummaryAs the Laborer, you will work onsite in Prudhoe Bay, AK and will be responsible for preparation, organization and general maintenance of rental equipment, general housekeeping of the facilities and yard, and other duties to improve overall efficiencies of operations. You will also provide assistance with inventory functions and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare equipment for rental.
- Perform daily maintenance, organization, and cleaning of equipment and yard.
- Assist with receiving, placement and storage of inventory parts and supplies.
- Make deliveries as needed with pickup truck and trailer.
- Clean and perform light maintenance of restroom facilities.
- Operate Industrial Wash Bay to clean small to large trucks and trailers as well as construction equipment.
- Assist the shop employees as needed.
- Perform routine facility maintenance as instructed.
- Work a rotational schedule 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Knowledge of construction equipment and willingness to learn equipment trade.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as employee handbooks, safety instructions, and other procedure manuals.
- Able to learn and follow instructions in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to participate in group meetings.
- Work in a flexible schedule.
- Excellent time management capabilities.
- Ability to work in a team environment and ask for assistance when needed.

- Ability to safely and efficiently operate a motor vehicle.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One-year previous experience working around a shop, construction or rental equipment operation required.
- Valid state driver’s license and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the company’s Driving Policy required.
- Ability to pass a drug, driving record and background check.
- One-year previous experience working in Prudhoe Bay/North slope preferred.
- Current NSTC training certificate, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- Class A CDL preferred.
The work environment requires working a schedule of 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off. Adaptability regarding schedule and design changes, and occasional overtime for immediate field support or bid processing may be necessary.
