Overview

Entry Level Automotive Technician - Homestead, FL. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring for an entry level technician to gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers.

• Perform basic automotive services such as tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, oil and filter changes, and preventive maintenance.
• Learn from mid and senior level technicians; train to perform additional automotive services.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service with clear communication about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations; adhere to vehicle care and safety policies.
• Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including lifting and handling tires and wheels.

• Must have a valid driver s license and be at least 18 years old.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to review, analyze, interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Commitment to learning new technologies in the automotive industry; safety policies compliance.
• Preferred:
  High School Diploma or GED; previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or training.
