Are you passionate about building hardware that survives launch and thrives in orbit?
We’re supporting a space company that’s building the first and only global cellular broadband network in space
, enabling standard mobile phones to connect directly to satellites- no ground infrastructure needed.
They’re hiring an Environmental Test Engineer to join their mission. You'll be hands-on with shakers, TVAC chambers, data systems, and high-stakes flight hardware
, verifying spacecraft components through vibration and thermal vacuum testing. This role is perfect for someone who wants to work cross-functionally, build out cleanroom test setups, and ensure mission-critical systems survive launch and space.
You’ll be doing:
- Writing and executing test plans for vibration (sine, random, shock) and TVAC testing
- Setting up and calibrating shakers, vacuum chambers, thermal instrumentation, and DAQ systems
- Collaborating with design, manufacturing, and systems engineering to define test requirements
