The RoleAs Senior Warehouse Lead, you’ll take ownership of warehouse operations supporting the build, integration, and test of high-value space hardware. You’ll be hands‑on, detail‑focused, and trusted to handle sensitive aerospace components while setting the standard for quality, safety, and efficiency.
This role sits at the heart of production and engineering, ensuring materials flow smoothly from goods‑in through to the shop floor and test environments.
What You’ll Be Doing- Receiving, inspecting, and processing aerospace hardware and materials to strict quality standards
- Managing accurate identification, labelling, storage, and traceability of all inventory
- Picking, kitting, and issuing parts to support manufacturing, integration, and test activities
- Packaging and preparing flight and ground hardware for internal moves and external shipment
- Maintaining compliance with cleanroom, ESD, and FOD requirements
- Performing cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other handling equipment safely
- Supporting internal and external audits and quality inspections
- Training and mentoring junior warehouse team members
- Driving continuous improvement across warehouse processes and systems
- 5+ years of warehouse or materials experience in aerospace, defence, or high‑tech manufacturing
- Strong understanding of inventory control, ERP/MRP systems, and controlled documentation
- Experience handling high‑value, sensitive hardware in regulated environments
- Forklift and material handling equipment certification
- Familiarity with cleanroom practices, ESD protection, and FOD control
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident working cross‑functionally with production, engineering, and quality teams
- Able to safely handle and move large or heavy components
- Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements
- Experience supporting satellite, propulsion, or spaceflight hardware
- Knowledge of aerospace packaging standards such as MIL‑STD or NASA standards
- ERP experience with systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure
