Summary
HII's Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced F-16 Instructor Pilot to deliver realistic adversary air tactics training for Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) aircrews. Based at Homestead ARB, this role involves flying red air missions in the F-16 Mission and Tactics Trainer (MTT), supporting simulated engagements, mission planning, and training exercises. You will also provide subject matter expertise on advanced tactics, simulator tools, and debriefing processes to enhance pilot combat readiness.

- Operate simulator consoles and conduct debriefs during and after missions
- Serve as Mission Director or Red Czar depending on training needs
- Provide subject matter expertise on air tactics, mission planning, and training objectives
- Coordinate with Weapons Officers and IPs to craft accurate and effective scenarios
- Develop and modify mission-planning materials and simulator academics
- Support scenario execution and event orchestration for maximum training value
- Report and assist in troubleshooting simulation software issues
- Supervise small teams during operations when required
- Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience, OR
- Master's degree and 13+ years of relevant experience, OR
- High school diploma/Equivalent and 19+ years of relevant experience
- Current or former F-16 pilot
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work on-site with flexible shifts (mornings/evenings)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have a current or active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience as an Instructor Pilot (IP) or Flight Evaluator
- Graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School
- Current DoD Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
