Position Overview
A well-established organization is seeking a Customer Solutions Specialist for a full‑time opportunity. This role supports customers through technical consultation, test coordination, and project follow‑up. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with the ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively across varying technical skill levels.
This position offers a bi‑weekly salary plus performance‑based bonus potential.
$17 - $25 an hour
Key Responsibilities- Educate customers and recommend appropriate solutions based on their needs.
- Provide technical assistance with test program setup and execution.
- Support customers before, during, and after testing processes.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.
- Collaborate internally to evaluate project feasibility and requirements.
- Review and summarize testing standards and engineering drawings.
- Prepare cost proposals for testing services.
- Follow up on open opportunities and pending test requests.
- Host facility tours and represent the organization at industry trade shows.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
- Associate’s degree in a science or technology‑related field.
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, including substantial written correspondence.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with detailed documentation abilities.
- Working knowledge of algebra and geometry concepts.
- Professional business etiquette and presentation skills.
- 5+ years of customer service experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a scientific discipline such as Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Experience working in a testing or manufacturing laboratory environment.
- Familiarity with national and international standards (ASTM, ISO, DIN, etc.).
- Strong, clear communication skills adaptable to various audiences.
- Ability to identify product or process quality issues.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High sense of urgency and responsiveness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bi‑weekly salary plus performance‑based bonus.
- Pay: $17–$25 hourly.
