Security Officers – Event-Based Position
Homestead-Miami Speedway, located in Homestead, Florida, has been a premier racing venue since 1995. The facility covers 650 acres and hosts up to 300 events per year, generating over $301 million annually for the region. NASCAR will host championship weekend at the Speedway in 2026.
Security Officers provide a visible security presence to guests and employees. Their duties include:
- Locking/unlocking doors and gates at appropriate times.
- Screening all persons entering ticketed and/or secure areas for valid credentials or tickets.
- Assisting guests with questions regarding directions, information about the facility, parking, and disabled assistance.
- Responding to any other security-related tasks as assigned.
Posts are located throughout Speedway properties. These are event-based positions. Shifts and hours vary based on event needs.
Qualifications and Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 8 hours at a time.
- Positive attitude.
- Valid Driver's License.
