Security Officers – Event-Based Position

Homestead-Miami Speedway, located in Homestead, Florida, has been a premier racing venue since 1995. The facility covers 650 acres and hosts up to 300 events per year, generating over $301 million annually for the region. NASCAR will host championship weekend at the Speedway in 2026.

Security Officers provide a visible security presence to guests and employees. Their duties include:

• Locking/unlocking doors and gates at appropriate times.
• Screening all persons entering ticketed and/or secure areas for valid credentials or tickets.
• Assisting guests with questions regarding directions, information about the facility, parking, and disabled assistance.
• Responding to any other security-related tasks as assigned.

Posts are located throughout Speedway properties. These are event-based positions. Shifts and hours vary based on event needs.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 8 hours at a time.
• Positive attitude.
• Valid Driver's License.
