Finance Manager – Spitzer CDJR Homestead

Job Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for coordinating the sale of finance and insurance programs to customers. The Financial & Insurance Manager works with lenders and financial institutions to provide financial services to dealership customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Sells financing and insurance to customers
  • Attains and produces financial services goals and objectives
  • Reviews customer credit applications
  • Makes extended service contracts and other owner protection programs available to customers
  • Assesses profitability to dealership of financing arrangements
  • Utilizes menu selling process
  • Maintains customer satisfaction scores above company standards
  • Ensures compliance with all laws and regulatory obligations concerning financial services and products; abides by Red Flag standards and laws
  • Complies with all Safeguard and Transaction compliance rules and regulations
  • Ensures organizational activities and operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations governing business operations
  • Oversees completion and submission of all financing documents
  • Acts as liaison between customer and lending institution
  • Ensures adherence to F&I reporting requirements of company
  • Attends weekly manager meetings
  • Works directly with employees and customers to develop relationships and bridge disconnects in the sales process
  • Builds rapport with customers to base referrals and presents finance and product options
  • Meets monthly objectives
  • Works with service advisors to address customer inquiries regarding warranty and service contracts
  • Trains and provides sales team with information on finance and lease programs and benefits of dealership’s financing and extended service programs
  • Other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of dealership experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to present a proper menu presentation
  • Provide desk support when needed and work with management team
  • Deal with local and national bankers and manufacturer representatives
  • Understand tag and title laws; DMV
  • Ability to multi‑task in fast‑paced environment
  • Successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre‑employment drug screen
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
