Salary: $95,326 - $123,927

Travel: Up to 25% travel

Work Type: No remote or telework

Position: Permanent position

Relocation: Relocation incentive may be available

Experience: 3-5 years desired experience

Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must serve as a warranted contracting officer at the level deemed necessary by the supervisor. Successful completion of a warrant test and warrant board will be required.
  • Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information.
  • The employee must meet the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements.
  • The employee must meet the continuing acquisition education requirements.
  • In accordance with the Ethics in Government Act, 1978, employee is required to file an OGE Form 450 annually.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance.
  • Professional knowledge of a wide variety of Federal contracting laws, regulations, policies, processes, procedures, and contract types.
  • Knowledge of business practices and market conditions applicable to program and technical acquisition requirements.
  • Knowledge of contracting negotiation, administration, termination principles, and price/cost analysis.
  • Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
