Position: IT Project Manager (PLCYPLN/NETWORK) with Security Clearance
Duties
* Serve as the senior technical expert for non-standard communications (NSC), providing high-level planning and analysis for network systems, non-attribution infrastructures, and misattributed pathways used in voice, data, and video transmission.
* Evaluate complex network architectures and infrastructures to integrate advanced commercial technologies and meet evolving special operations requirements.
* Coordinates managed-attribution (MA) activities, signature reduction methodologies, and implements policies for digital identity data, ensuring strict compliance with operational security (OPSEC) goals and relevant DoW IT resource regulations.
* Lead large-scale projects to upgrade and consolidate deployed networks, conducting cost-benefit analyses, capacity studies, and total cost of ownership evaluations for commercial internet solutions.
* Coordinate with DoW components to align non-standard communications capabilities with theater mission requirements and technological advancements.
* Develop robust work plans, routing schemes, and disaster recovery protocols to ensure the continuous availability of critical network resources during contingencies.
* Lead cross-functional teams to provide specialized non-standard communications and signature-managed transmission support throughout the Central and South American theater.
* Direct the creation and maintenance of configuration management plans and detailed network maps to manage infrastructure, topology, and connectivity for remote sites and internet gateways.
* Provide guidance to SOCSOUTH leadership and IT specialists regarding emerging technologies, science and technology requirements, and out-of-cycle programmed needs. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a top secret/sensitive compartmented information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
* This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug-Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85.
* Incumbent will be required to work evenings, nights and weekends on a rotating shift, to cover 16-hours a day, 7 day a week operations.
* The incumbent must be able to deploy on short notice for both exercises and real world deployments under field conditions.
* Temporary duty (TDY) travel is required up to 20% of the time to include the Caribbean as well as Central and South America.
* Must be able to complete any pre-employment screening and pertinent immunizations for country entry.
* Stress is inherent in the nature of work. Many short-suspense actions and pressures of time form nearly all contacts contribute to heightened demands on the incumbent. Qualifications Who May Apply:
