They are growing and looking to add a key operations leader to the team.
They are seeking an experienced supply chain professional to take full ownership of procurement, logistics, and inventory for their manufacturing operation. If you have a background in industrial or manufacturing environments, know how to manage complex material flows, and bring the discipline and instincts to keep operations running efficiently, this is a high-visibility role worth a close look.
What You’ll OwnPurchasing and Procurement:
- Manage the full purchasing cycle from requisitions and POs to supplier negotiations and performance management
- Run MRP and demand planning tools to stay ahead of stock needs for specialized industrial components and materials
- Build and maintain supplier relationships that hold up under pressure
Logistics and Supply Chain:
- Oversee domestic and international shipments, freight, and container scheduling
- Handle export documentation and maintain compliance with all import/export requirements
- Manage everything from small parcel to full container shipments, including coordination with global customers and vendors
Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and lead cycle counts and physical inventories
- Resolve discrepancies and implement controls that keep operations running without surprises
ERP and Data:
- Serve as the go-to resource for purchasing, inventory, and job cost data in the ERP system
- Support teams across Operations, Sales, and Accounting
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve ERP workflows and operational processes
- 5+ years in purchasing, logistics, or inventory control, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or operations (or equivalent experience)
- Strong ERP background required;
Syspro experience is a significant advantage - Solid working knowledge of MRP, demand planning, and international freight logistics
- Sharp with data, composed under pressure, and genuinely collaborative
