About VeridianFrom day one, Veridian was built on one belief: communities deserve better. We replace silos and finger-pointing with one accountable partner across management, security, landscaping, and tech. We favor clarity over complexity, own outcomes end-to-end, and put community first — every time.
About the RoleThis isn’t your standard Property Manager role. Community management done right is invisible to residents — and unmistakable when it isn t.
As a Community Manager, you are the operational center of the community you manage. You hold the license, carry the accountability, and own the outcome — from Board relations and on-site operations to budget performance and compliance. You are the person others escalate to, and the one who owns the resolution.
And you won’t do it alone. At Veridian you work at the center of a connected team — Finance, Security, Landscaping, Community Experience, and corporate — with smart, pre-built systems behind you to handle the heavy lifting. You manage the community; the backbone carries the rest. Understanding where that line sits is the heart of the role.
How This Role Works at VeridianWhat you own (accountable for the outcome):
- Board relations and board education — preparation, judgment, and clear answers.
- On-site presence and day-to-day community operations — present, accountable, ahead of issues.
- Execution of governing-document enforcement within Veridian’s standardized workflow — documented and consistent.
- Closure of escalated resident matters — you step in and close the loop.
- Community budget performance — you monitor actuals, explain variances, and approve invoices against contract.
What Veridian carries with you (connected, central functions — built and run for you, so you coordinate rather than rebuild):
- Finance: the budget is built with you and run by Veridian’s Finance team, and collections are handled centrally. You bring the on-the-ground context and approve invoices;
Finance owns the ledger. - Enforcement & Security: the violation workflow is a standardized, Veridian-owned process delivered with our in-house Security team. You apply it consistently — no one-off versions per community.
- In-house service lines: Security and Landscaping are Veridian-delivered and coordinated through their leads — not outside vendors you bid out.
- Communications: Board and resident correspondence routes through corporate for brand and voice consistency before it goes out.
- Policy & legal authority: resolution and policy drafting, any question of Board enforcement authority, and any owner legal-threat language route to corporate and association counsel. You carry decisions forward — you don’t interpret governing documents on your own or advise boards on legal questions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Board — prepared, responsive, and clear.
- Prepare and present board meeting packages: agendas, management reports, and action items.
- Read, interpret, and present financial statements to the board — variances explained, questions answered, nothing left unclear.
- Advise boards on Florida Statutes Chapter 720 (HOA) compliance, governing documents, and community standards — routing questions of Board authority to corporate and counsel before action.
- Support resolution and policy drafting in partnership with Veridian s corporate team — consistent with the governing documents and Veridian s standards.
- Coordinate all official correspondence with Veridian s corporate team to ensure brand consistency and voice before anything goes out.
- Manage day-to-day community operations — present, accountable, and consistently ahead of issues.
- Set and hold the enforcement standard from day one — courtesy notices and the violation ladder run within Veridian’s standardized workflow, documented, and applied evenly across the community.
- Coordinate community maintenance and project work end-to-end — from work order to close-out — working with Veridian’s service lines rather than…
