Job Summary: The Cannabis Kitchen Technician plays a crucial role in our cannabis kitchen, contributing to the production of high‑quality cannabis‑infused products. This individual will be responsible for various tasks related to the preparation, cooking, and packaging of cannabis‑infused edibles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately measure and weigh cannabis and other ingredients according to recipes.
- Follow standardized procedures for the preparation of cannabis‑infused products.
- Operate kitchen equipment and appliances with precision and safety.
- Execute cooking processes while monitoring temperature, timing, and quality.
- Safely handle and infuse cannabis extracts into edible products.
- Maintain consistency in product quality and potency.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
- Record and report any deviations or discrepancies in the production process.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any concerns.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines for cannabis‑infused product manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate records of ingredients, batches, and production processes.
- Assist in audits and inspections as needed.
- Follow proper sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff, production supervisors, and quality assurance personnel.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.
Starting wage: $18.00 per hour. The Flowery offers benefits, paid time off accruals and paid holidays to all full‑time employees.
Eligibility Requirements- 21 years of age or older
- Can actively pass a level two federal background check
- Obtained their high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Flexible availability (please provide requests or restrictions in the application accurately)
- Can lift 50lbs over their head, stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, kneel, squat etc as necessary to get the job done
