Pay Range: $16/hr
Location: Homestead, FL
Job Type: Full Time | Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm

What You’ll Do

The Processing Lab Technician will work within the Processing Laboratory Department and report to the Lab Manager. You will assist the Lab Manager with day‑to‑day tasks such as prepping chemicals, preventative maintenance, calibration, tracking, documenting, packaging, labeling, cleaning, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and Curaleaf standards.

  • Keep the workspace clean (clean glassware, wipe down workstation, mop, etc.).
  • Track data through paperwork and on an iPad using our electronic batch record system.
  • Use internal tracking systems Bio Track and METRC.
  • Increase operational efficiency and reduce waste through ownership, teamwork, communication, and collaboration.
  • Perform in‑process and post‑process quality assurance testing and visual inspections to ensure all product meets or exceeds CL’s specifications.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with weighing, data recording, product tracking, and security throughout all processes.
  • Operate efficiently while complying with OSHA, Curaleaf, and state SOPs.
  • Ensure each product is properly labeled in compliance with state regulations.
  • Follow instructions and assist with tasks delegated by laboratory management.
  • Prepare materials to be processed in accordance with daily tasks.
  • Maintain quality control testing for consistency and efficacy.
  • Perform all duties required to keep a clean and safe production facility.
  • Adhere to GMP and all safety procedures.
  • Sanitize all production equipment, tools, workspace, containers, and appliances.
What You’ll Bring
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Excellent verbal interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of weights and measurements.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Adaptability.
  • Experience with safe handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
  • Previous agriculture or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel ~5%.
