DescriptionThis position is responsible for coordinating all inpatient admissions to the rehabilitation unit and will assist in promoting the programs and services of Baptist Inpatient Rehabilitation. This individual must have the necessary skills to evaluate patients and make summary decisions on admissions with final clearance to be obtained by the rehabilitation physiatrists. In addition this position is responsible for leading/supervising all the nurse liaisons in the field and enhancing employee engagement and growth.
This individual will be maintaining relationships with physicians and referral sources in the field. The admission process will be analyzed on a monthly basis and presented to the administrative director with recommendations for improvement. Estimated salary range for this position is $80516.80 - $107087.34 / year depending on experience.
Degrees:
- Bachelors.
- Registered Nurse.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
- Basic Life Support.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
- Bachelor Science Nursing - BSN.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Critical thinking skills required.
- Bilingual required.
- Certification related to area of specialty.
