The Retail Assistant Manager works in partnership with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team to deliver T‑Mobile’s aspirations of earning a place in our customers’ hearts and Mobile Associate success.

• Infuse every Mobile Assistant with a passion for T‑Mobile’s Manifesto by thoroughly orienting and grounding them to a standard of "Loving Our Customers".
• Ensure that every customer need is met, building confidence through comfort, simplicity, and problem solving.
• Complete observations of Mobile Associate interactions with customers, providing feedback for development, training, and coaching conversations.
• Effectively manage customer wait time and keep current on products, services, and promotions.
• Lead by example by staying up to date on the latest products, services, training, and leadership best practices to remain an expert resource.
• Assist in maintaining the quality of the overall store environment, adhering to national plan‑ogram standards and using visual displays effectively.
• Ensure team knowledge of store systems, corporate and store communications, and deliver financial results based on key performance indicators.
• Identify ways to manage and control store expenses, managing discounting and credits.

• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred.
• Available to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lead and mentor people to deliver great results.
• Outstanding communicator with the ability to interact with teammates and customers.
• Spanish bilingual preferred, but not required.

• At least 18 years of age.

• High School Diploma or GED.
