The current Gas & Oil Applications / Sales Lead resigned unexpectedly.
The company now urgently needs to replace him with a sales-focused person who can own and manage the accounts.
The original plan was to hire an Applications Engineer to support him, but that plan has changed—the priority is now filling his role

This is based on where shale plays and customer sites are located. Mostly day travel
, with minimal overnight stays (~2 weeks a year).
The role manages sales into gas and oil market segments. The candidate must have:
Must-Have Industry ExperienceGas & oil industry experience is essential
Experience selling into or working with:
Refineries
Cryogenic plants
Gas processing facilities
Compressor stations
Understanding of the process flow from gas extraction to final product
Salespeople who sold valves, pumps, filtration, compressors, or process equipment into gas facilities
Chemical engineers or process engineers who understand plant operations
Former operators from companies like Williams (reference example)
Manage accounts
Perform site visits, assessments, and quotes
Work with outside sales team
Own territory sales
Understand process flow and how filtration fits into gas applications
Not a design role; more of a technical sales role with market coordination

Total compensation target:
$120,000–$140,000 OTE (year
1)Includes base + commission + profit share
Breakdown:
Base Salary: $75–$90K typical
Can go up to $120K base for the right person
Commission: 3% on gross profit (current GP is ~$1M producing ~$30K commission)
Company profit-share program included
Previous employee earned ~$130K total
Company vehicle included (may not be immediate but part of package)
Hiring is urgent
Interviews can take place before or during holiday break if strong candidates appear
Standard interview process = 4 stages
The client is open to seeing a strong candidate named Connor Dudas (HYDAC) for the Applications Engineer role separately.
