As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and construction of our cannabis cultivation and production facilities. This role plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for the cultivation and processing of cannabis products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in facility maintenance and construction, with a focus on safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain and repair irrigation systems, lighting systems, and environmental control systems.
  • Ensure the facility is compliant with all safety regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the construction and renovation of cultivation and production areas.
  • Work with contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and infrastructure.
  • Follow blueprints and construction plans as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the safe handling of cannabis products and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to cannabis cultivation and facility maintenance.
  • Participate in safety training and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including cultivation and production staff, to ensure facility needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and report any issues or concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in facility maintenance and construction.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance systems (e.g., plumbing, construction).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.

Starting wage: $18.00 per hour. The Flowery offers benefits, paid time off accruals and paid holidays to all full‑time employees.

Eligibility Requirements
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Can actively pass a level two federal background check
  • Obtained their high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Flexible availability (please provide requests or restrictions in the application accurately)
  • Can lift 50lbs over their head, stand for long periods of time, sit, bend, kneel, squat etc as necessary to get the job done
