- Travel to customer locations to perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues in diesel engines, heavy trucks, and equipment.
- Perform services such as engine repairs, brake work, fuel system maintenance, transmission service, and other general diesel repairs.
- Operate diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Provide clear, accurate estimates and explain repair needs to customers.
- Maintain accurate service records and parts usage documentation.
- Keep mobile work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong client relationships.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a diesel technician, preferably with mobile service experience.
- ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification(s) or OEM training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drive trains, fuel systems, and diagnostic procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus).
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in the field and as part of a collaborative team.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions.
Demonstrates expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and heavy trucks, with a strong focus on customer service and maintaining accurate service records. Capable of operating diagnostic tools and working independently in various conditions while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
