We are partnering with a company to identify a Credit Manager responsible for overseeing the full credit function while supporting business growth and minimizing financial risk. This role will partner closely with finance, sales, and operations to drive strong credit practices and improve overall cash flow performance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the company's credit and collections function, including credit approvals, risk assessment, and AR performance
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits and terms based on financial analysis
- Monitor credit exposure and proactively manage risk while supporting sales and customer relationships
- Partner with AR and collections teams to ensure timely resolution of past‑due balances and improve cash flow
- Develop, implement, and enforce credit policies and procedures across the organization
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, leadership) to address high-risk accounts and escalations
- Track and report on key metrics (DSO, aging, credit exposure), providing insights to leadership for decision‑making
- Identify and drive process improvements, including automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in credit, collections, or AR leadership roles
- Strong financial analysis skills and experience evaluating credit risk
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across teams and influence decision‑making
