Production Associate​/Delivery Driver

The Production Associate will work in our roasting facility in West Homewood. They will work with a team of other associates, roasters, Lead Roaster and our operations manager. This person will be someone who works well under limited supervision in a well-oiled machine & system. The perfect candidate understands O.Henry’s commitment to coffee, connection and community.

The primary role for this position is to order fulfillment and delivery. The other duties listed below are also a part of the job, but not the primary responsibility.

(Tasks will be different depending on the needs of the business, but may include the following)

• Primary role will be order fulfillment and delivering to customers
• Operate K-Cup machinery and fulfill K-Cup procedures
• Work production orders for O'Henry's Store/Wholesale/Web orders
• Fill and seal coffee bags (2oz,12-16oz, 5lb bulk, special order)
• Grind whole bean coffee for packaging
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of stations and machines

(Proper training and safety procedures will be provided to operate any/all machinery required and any/all job responsibilities.)

• Lifting ability up to 50lbs
• Have clean driving record and adhere to all driving laws and regulations
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Safely use step stool/ ladder
• Basic math/unit conversion for measurements
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Work under limited supervision
• Able to adapt priority of tasks to be completed per the needs of the business
