• $90,000 – $110,000 per year (depending on experience).

• Analyze bid specifications, drawings, and project details to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Analyze and interpret architectural and engineering plans to determine the scope of work.
• Perform material take-offs and identify cost factors, including labor and materials.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to refine estimates and ensure project success.
• Utilize construction management and estimating software to produce detailed proposals.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and secure competitive bids.
• Attend client meetings to present estimates and discuss project details.

• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting commercial blueprints and plans.
• Ability to engage with clients and ensure their needs are met with intentional and detailed estimates.
• Knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff and other estimating software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
• A methodical, detail-oriented approach—not just a doer, but a thinker who looks at the bigger picture.
