We are seeking a skilled Transportation Engineer to lead and manage transportation projects from planning through construction. The ideal candidate will have strong roadway design experience and a background working with IDOT and municipal clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead roadway geometric, drainage, utility, and hydraulic design.
- Oversee traffic analysis, signal design, and maintenance of traffic plans.
- Manage IDOT Phase I/II design projects and public involvement activities.
- Review engineering plans for regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with municipalities, utility districts, and state agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Active Illinois Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with IDOT and Illinois municipal transportation projects preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or Micro Station experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
