Overview
Do you have a caring heart and desire to make a difference in someone's life? Bristol Hospice San Antonio is seeking compassionate individuals to serve as companion volunteers for patients in their final stages of life.
Responsibilities- Visit patients in their homes, assisted living, or nursing facilities
- Offer companionship through conversation, reading aloud, playing games, or simply sitting quietly together
- Provide a comforting presence to patients who may not have family nearby
- Support emotional well-being through kindness and attentiveness
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Complete Bristol Hospice's volunteer training and onboarding process
- Pass background and TB screening (provided at no cost)
- Have reliable transportation
Flexible with your schedule - Just 1-2 hours a week can make a meaningful impact!
