Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position in a skilled nursing facility located in Texas. The role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The position requires active state licensure and supports clinical assessments, treatment administration, documentation, and patient education to promote optimal recovery outcomes.

• Schedule:
  
  Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid PTA license, active state licensure in Texas; 1 year of PTA experience preferred, including at least Level II experience new graduates are acceptable if they meet Level II criteria; experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation required.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting.
• Additional Information:
  The role involves utilizing evidence-based practices to support clinical intervention, administering various treatment procedures, assessing patient progress, and documenting all clinical activities accordingly. The PTA may participate in treatment planning meetings, provide consultation to patients and families, and supervise students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. Engagement in required training sessions, in-services, and conferences is expected. The assignment begins on 09/21/2026 and concludes on 12/21/2026.
