Principal Duties and Accountabilities (Essential Functions)

• Cleans and maintains grounds using mowers, trimmers, and other equipment as directed.
• Picks up trash on grounds and assists with plant beautification projects.
• Regularly uses a shovel, broom to clean various parts of the plant.
• Performs labor functions in and around plant.
• Paints structures.
• Assists with quality samples.
• Performs other project work as needed.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must communicate effectively using appropriate interpersonal skills.
• Must own and supervise own work and be self‑motivated.
• Must have an excellent safety record and be safety conscious at all times.
• Must be able to work outside 90% of the time and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to perform job task assignment 8 to 12 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs ground‑to‑shoulder height frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Requires corrected vision, manual and finger dexterity and hearing within normal range.
• Ability to perform tasks on rough uneven surfaces and terrain.
• Ability to work at heights, in cramped places and around moving objects.
• Ability to work outside up to 100% of the time.
• Capable of speaking, sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, climbing ladder and stairs, bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping for periods extending to twelve (12) hours per shift.
