Job Responsibilities:
- Process daily cash receipts and apply payments accurately to tenant accounts.
- Review and interpret complex retail lease documents to calculate billing adjustments.
- Maintain and update tenant profiles and lease data in the Yardi accounting system.
- Generate and transmit monthly billing, utility statements, and related correspondence.
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and explain delinquent payments.
- Assist with rent collections, resolve payment discrepancies, and calculate late charges.
- Review utility usage reports and coordinate monthly utility billing.
- Handle tenant inquiries and prepare reconciliations of charges and payments.
- Input tenant sales data and generate monthly sales and analysis reports.
- Support lease administration tasks and process vendor payments and reimbursements.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Real Estate, or Finance, or have 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Yardi or similar property management accounting software.
- Show familiarity with commercial or retail lease documents and terminology.
- Possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows.
- Exhibit excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
