Accounts Payable Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable invoices with precision and ensure all data is entered accurately into the system.

- Assign proper account codes to invoices and handle automated clearing house (ACH) payments.

- Perform check runs and reconcile billing statements to maintain financial accuracy.

- Collaborate with team members to review monthly statements and address discrepancies as needed.

- Manage credit card charges and ensure timely recording in the general ledger.

- Verify and credit chargebacks for invoices to maintain up-to-date records.

- Assist with general ledger updates and support month-end financial processes.

- Provide support for training and onboarding processes related to accounts payable tasks.

- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions to ensure compliance and accessibility.

- Communicate effectively with agents and vendors to resolve payment issues.

Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or related data entry roles.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data processing.

- Familiarity with coding invoices and managing account codes.

- Experience with automated clearing house (ACH) payments and check runs preferred.

- Basic knowledge of general ledger and monthly statement reconciliation.

- Ability to manage credit card charges and ensure proper documentation.

- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Broker Wolf is a plus.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
