Responsible for handling all transactions related to Accounts Receivable, including processing daily cash receipts, tenant billings and sales reports. Other duties involve setting up new tenant profiles and various Accounts Payable functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Processes bank deposits and timely posting of all daily cash receipts.
  • Assists with collection of all rents in full and on time. Calculates and processes late charges and prepares collection correspondence.
  • Calculates and creates billing adjustments at the direction of V. P. Asset Manager, V. P., General Manager and Property Assistant.
  • Maintains and updates tenant master files in the property management computer system (currently Yardi). Reviews and/or inputs new lease information into Yardi.
  • Reviews monthly utility usage and charges report generated by 3rd Party vendor. Coordinates processing of monthly utility charges and generation of utility statements.
  • Generates and reviews Monthly Tenant Rental Charges Report. Researches & provides explanations for variances from prior month billed amounts.
  • Generates and transmits monthly billing statements to tenants and prepares manual interim statements as needed.
  • Handles tenant inquiries regarding billings, statements, percentage rents and sales. Prepares detailed reconciliations and statements of tenants’ charges and accounts receivable summaries.
  • Reviews and confirms accuracy of tenant monthly percentage rent reports. Prepares related billing adjustments for corporate input into Yardi.
