Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Honolulu, Hawaii. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth reconciliation processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough reconciliation of bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.

- Handle credit card statement reconciliation and post receipts efficiently.

- Utilize Sage 100 software to maintain and process financial data.

- Enter accurate data related to accounts payable and other financial transactions.

- Process invoices in a timely and organized manner.

- Generate financial reports to support decision-making and compliance needs.

- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and resolve them.

- Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

- Maintain detailed and organized records to support financial operations.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

- Proficiency in reconciling credit card statements and managing accounts payable.

- Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing.

- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Sage 100.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for report generation.

- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

- Reliable and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Experience with bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records.
