Position OverviewPremier Restoration Hawaii is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a critical role in supporting and strengthening the financial operations of our growing restoration and construction company.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, drive process improvements, support technology integrations, and help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple business entities. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is encouraged.
This Position Will Contribute in the Following Ways
Accounting & Financial Operations:
- Oversee daily accounting operations and transactional activities in accordance with GAAP
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments across multiple Quick Books Online companies
- Review daily bank and credit card activity and complete month-end reconciliations
- Maintain accurate general ledger coding and support job costing and inventory tracking
- Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and cash collections
- Prepare and support monthly Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) filings
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare month-end financial reports, including balance sheet and profit & loss analyses
- Perform variance analysis and identify trends impacting financial performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Support leadership with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making
Systems & Process Improvement
- Support and enhance integrations between Quick Books Online, Ramp, Integra Rental, DASH, and other business systems
- Participate in accounting projects, system implementations, and process improvement initiatives
- Help strengthen internal controls and accounting workflows
Team Leadership
- Provide guidance, training, and support to accounting team members
- Review work for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented accounting culture
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2–4 years of public accounting and/or general accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with Quick Books Online and integrated accounting platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across departments
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent professional certification
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience in construction, restoration, contracting, or project-based accounting environments
Work Environment
- Full-time, in-office position
- Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Office/Warehouse environment
- Minimal travel required
