Salary$6,043 to $7,351 per month (SR-24, Step D to I)
Job SummaryPerforms difficult and responsible accounting work involving supervision of a major accounting program, design and revision of a major aspect of the State accounting system, or supervision and participation in the preparation of control records and financial statements for all State funds; and performs other duties as required.
Qualifications- Legal Authorization to Work: Citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
- Basic
Education:
A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four‑year college or university with at least 12 semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects. - Accounting
Experience:
Three and one-half years of progressively responsible professional accounting or auditing experience, which may include teaching accounting at the university level. - Supervisory Aptitude: Demonstration of aptitude or potential for supervisory duties through successful completion of assignments involving supervisory responsibilities, such as serving as a group or team leader, completion of training courses in supervision, or favorable appraisals indicating supervisory potential.
