Accountant at Data House will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations. This position involves maintaining and analyzing the general ledger, managing complex accounting activities, and ensuring accuracy in financial documents.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage and reconcile general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank accounts
- Ensure compliance with federal and Hawaii tax regulations
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning
- Improve and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a solid background in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and communication skills.
- Years of Experience (Guideline): 5+ years
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000
This role primarily involves working in a professional office environment and may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, and participation in virtual or in‑person meetings. Occasional travel may be required based on project and client needs.
