Established, successful regional accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing all clients’ tax returns in a timely manner. There is the option to work remotely part of the time, with candidates in Hawaii required to be present in the office several days a week during busy tax seasons.

• Conducts tax preparation and reviews of all tax documents and assists with tax audits.
• Takes full ownership of tax returns and assigns tasks to preparers as needed.
• Demonstrates expertise in technical skills required to advise clients effectively.
• Manages client service tasks within budgeted time frames.
• Supervises tax research projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversees governmental tax reviews and represents clients when needed.
• Maintains awareness of tax staff qualifications and assigns tasks accordingly.
• Provides training and supervision to tax staff members.

• Develops and trains Junior Staff and Accountants.
• Provides input for Tax Department reviews and evaluations.

• Minimum of three years’ experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
• At least one year of experience supervising tax preparers.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Master's in taxation preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
