Tax Manager

The ideal candidate should be sharp, diligent, reliable and highly effective with a strong knowledge of tax and have exceptional communication skills. • Minimum 7 years’ experience in accounting and tax.
• MUST have extensive experience preparing Individual, Corporate and Partnership Tax Returns.
• Proficient in Quick Books, Quick Books Online, Excel, Google Sheets, and multiple Tax software.
• Current CPA license required.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• CCH Axcess Tax experience required.
• Quick Books proficiency is required.

• Prepare and review federal and state return filings for Individuals and Business Returns.
• Review financial statements and prepare adjusting journal entries as necessary.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and exceptional service.
• Prepare quarterly tax estimates and year-end projections.
• Assist with Tax Planning for new and existing clients.
• Research and analyze tax positions in connection with the preparation of returns.
• Frequent phone calls to the IRS.
