We are seeking a full time accounting manager to join our team! HTM Contractors, Inc. is a leader in the residential and commercial market in Honolulu, Hawaii. We are a diversified service contractor that specializes in tree service, junk removal, roll‑off dumpster rental, environmental cleaning/street sweeping, and our team members take pride in the work we deliver.

Pay &

Schedule:

• $104,000 Annually
• Monday‑Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Weekly Pay
• Medical and Dental Insurance – 100% Company Paid (Employee + Full Family) Begins after 4 weeks averaging 20+ hours/week
• Holiday Pay – 10 Holidays Per year
• PTO – 160 Hours per year
• Birthday Pay (after 1 year)
• Life Insurance: $10,000.00 company-paid
• Profit Sharing
• 401K Retirement Plan – Company Match up to 4% (after 1 year)

The Work:

• Lead daily accounting functions
• Ensure timely transaction processing and accurate data management in Quick Books Online (QBO)
• Perform reconciliations, manage cash flow, and support forecasting activities
• Ensure adherence to established accounting policies and regulatory requirements
• Oversee QBO’s Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, and customer/vendor records, ensuring data integration with related systems like Service Fusion and Red Team
• Update accounting procedures, support job costing, and develop training materials to boost accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in related field.
• Supervisory or management experience (required)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Supervise, lead, and develop a high‑performing accounting team
• Exercise sound administrative judgement
• Maintain high standards in financial data integrity.
• Monthly WIP, Progress Billing, Reviewed Financial Statement, Monthly In‑house FS & BS for Bonding
• Proficiency in Quick Books, Myi Solved, Red Team and Service Fusion is a plus.
